2026 BokuAka Exchange

This event is 18+ in the interest of allowing NSFW content to be posted on the server and social media accounts. Anyone who is found to be under the age of 18 will be immediately booted from the server and the event, and banned from future events with the mods.

The purpose of the Discord server is to organize the event. As such, we have a strict no drama/harassment policy. We want everyone to have fun, and to have the opportunity to be creative, without fear of judgment. Mods reserve the right to mute/ban participants should there be any issues.

No hate/bullying/negative behavior towards others allowed. This includes racism, hate speech, trans/homophobia, usage of slurs, and victim blaming. No exceptions. Any violations will lead to being kicked from the event.

In addition, although this is an event focused on the ship of Bokuto x Akaashi, there are participants who love many different characters and ships. Please, no ship wars allowed. There is ZERO tolerance for violating this rule. Any violations will lead to the individual being kicked from the event.

Since this is a gift exchange, please keep specific discussion of gifts to your team channel or private DMs where your giftee can’t see.

The event allows SFW, NSFW, and problematic fanworks. However, regarding NSFW and problematic content, we ask that: any NSFW work portrays BokuAka as consenting adults. Explicit gore also won't be permitted. All published work must include appropriate content warnings and tags. Works untagged and/or in violation of these requirements will not be retweeted by the exchange account or be accepted into the Ao3 collection.

Please keep your giftee’s preferences in consideration as you create. For example, if a giftee requests SFW only, or no omegaverse, please keep these requests in mind. If you receive a gift that is triggering (such as by including your DNWs), please reach out to the mods as soon as you’re able.

Artists must complete an illustration with shading and writers must complete a story of at least 2,000 words by date of posting (Sept 20, 2026).

Gift completion rule: The work that is posted on September 20th MUST be complete. If it is a multi-chapter story, or a comic, it may be released over time, but the creator must send a PDF (or equivalent document form) of the work to both their gift recipient and their mod.

Please show your gifter some love! Repost, comment, and leave kudos on your gift (if applicable). Creators like to know that they have done well and that you’re happy with the work they’ve done! Failure to do so may result in being banned from future BokuAka events.

No use of AI is permitted in the creation of either stories or art. If a creator is found to have used AI, they will be booted from the event and banned from future events.

If you have any pressing issues that need to be addressed: we ask that you reach out to us sooner rather than later, so we are able to best assist you in the most efficient way.

Finally, the mods reserve the right to modify the rules as necessary to meet the needs of the server and/or the event.
